how does it work?
Something you will hear us say a lot is that we are not a food bank! The reason that we say that is because no one who attends needs to be referred.... you just turn up!

We are a donation based charity, which means all the work we do in Northwich, is funded by the donations we receive from our patrons.
Its my 1st time

1
arriving at the hub
You will be welcomed at the door either by the hub leader or a designated person who will welcome you. If they don't recognise you, they will ask if you have been before and possibly explain the process.

As we are a donation based charity, you will be asked if you would like to donate by cash or card? To us there is no real difference, however if you are donating by card, you will be given a piece of paper (this is so that you can make the donation at the end).

2
£1 donation on the door
At this point you will be asked for a £1 donation for entry into the hub. You will see a large area of bread, fruit and vegetables. This is included as part of your £1 entry. When you have taken your bread, fruit and vegetables you can leave the food hub if you choose to.

However if you choose to you can make use of the pantry and premium sections.
3
pantry
This section is full of items such as pasta, tinned items, drinks, packaged pastries, cereals etc etc. In this section we ask for extra donations from 20p to a few ££'s. Again you have the choice.
4
premium
Our premium section is where you will find meals for you and the family including:Pizzas, meats, fish and ready meals, most of which will have been frozen. Sometimes you will also find items that will have a best before date that we will have kept from the day before.
